Warner Bros. has announced that the Minecraft movie starring Jason Momoa will be released on April 4, 2025. It has been in development for nearly a decade now, so the news is welcome by most fans.
What surprised many people was Momoa's appearance in it. It's hard to imagine Aquaman and Khal Drogo playing in a Minecraft film.
Other actors to feature in the movie are not announced yet, but it will be directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre).
