Talking to DC fans on Twitter, James Gunn, the CEO of DC Studios, confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is not intended to be the final game in the Arkham franchise. "No plans of it being the last," he wrote, but later, deleted the tweet. Gunn also shared that he's a "fan" and can't wait for the game, which will be shipped on February 2, 2024.

"James, is it possible for more Arkhamverse games or do you want the priorities to shift to the DCU games first? Lots of people are worried it's over after suicide squad," asked a Twitter user. "No way! I personally can't wait for the game and hopefully more. I'm a fan," shared Gunn.

When Gunn took on the role as the Co-Chairman and CEO of DC Studios, he initially stated that future DC comics games would be set in a rebooted universe. However, Gunn later clarified that this requirement is not mandatory, and studios have the freedom to create their own universes.

As for Rocksteady, the studio has not made any official announcements regarding the continuation of the Arkham universe following Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, as a service game, they plan to support it with additional story content after its release. Recently, they also shared that the game will receive an official offline mood after the launch.
