Lords of the Fallen might not be the most successful game of the year. Although HEXWORKS reported it had sold a million copies within 10 days of its release, the title's reviews on Steam are Mixed at the moment. However, this doesn't take away from its unique dark aesthetics.
Digital Void, a co-dev game studio, shared a closer look at Lords of the Fallen's characters and assets so you can enjoy its beauty up close.
The team was also responsible for some environments in the game, but I guess these might come later. Most of the works were made with ZBrush and Substance 3D Painter.
Lords of the Fallen is a reboot of the 2014 Soulslike action RPG. It provides a vast world for you to explore, an ability to customize your character and playstyle, and hundreds of brutal weapons. After it was launched in October, the developers received multiple complaints about its performance, problems with multiplayer, and gameplay.
It's sad to hear because this is the most expensive title in CI Games, the publisher, portfolio. Its production and marketing costs amounted to PLN 281 million ($66 million).
