Rockstar is looking for a Production Coordinator to support our Edinburgh Motion Capture team across all projects. This role will focus on organizing requests, communicating with crew both on and off set, managing our capture database and interfacing with talent and agents as needed. Other responsibilities include handling catering and equipment orders and assisting with on-set builds as needed.

 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized with strong interpersonal skills and who is able to work within tight deadlines with a high degree of composure. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced and oftentimes fluid environments, where tasks may change quickly from one day to the next. The devil is in the details, and we’re seeking someone who truly loves the minutia of pre-production and production work. This role helps build the foundation of our well-oiled motion capture team and will require dedication and an eye for detailed work.

 

WHAT WE DO

  • The Motion Capture team is responsible for storyboarding, directing and capturing live actor data for use in Cinematics and in-game animations out of our studio in Edinburgh.
  • We work with cutting edge technology to capture actors’ movements to create photo realistic content in our games.
  • We fabricate sets, customize hardware, create props, and utilize every tool possible to ensure the quality of our shoots.
  • We support the overall Global Mocap Team to help maintain the integrity of the collective capture of both in-game and narrative content for all our projects.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with various teams to assist in organizing content for motion capture shoots under tight deadlines.
  • Prepare stage and supporting areas for capture and ensure an ongoing readiness state.
  • Coordinate with NY Production, especially the NY casting team, on talent management needs including on-site talent management during principal production.
  • Organize and send out talent paperwork and call sheet notices for the local studio.
  • Create, upload and maintain shot lists and all shoot assets from pre-production thru to post.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make fast changes as needed. Please note, timing could occur outside the standard workday especially if in support of a studio in another time zone.
  • Cross train with NY Production on how to utilize internal software to track assets, update scripts and communicate updates to the wider team.
  • Organize and compile various casting data in support of NY Production on a rolling basis as needed.
  • Support the Global Mocap team as backup for other studios as needed.
  • Support the mocap team with prop and set construction as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a similar coordinating or project management position.
  • Highly trained in organizational tools like Excel, Monday.com, Shotgrid or other project management software.
  • Proficient in Docusign, Dropbox, Google Docs, Google Sheets.
  • Film/TV, video games or theater production background.

  • Natural multi-tasker who can keep a level head when things get busy.
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and adjust as needed.
